One of our main goals with the Bedford Tabletop Expo is to encourage young hobbyists and gamers to try new things, learn new skills and grow their hobby interests. Throughout the weekend, we will be running the “Family Zone”. This area of the hall is aimed at younger attendees and has everything from boardgames to demos to painting tutorials to drop-in gaming sessions.
One of our most popular activities last year was the tables hosted by Imagination Gaming. This year it’s going to be even bigger with more on offer for gamers of all ages. With a focus on education and development through play, this is sure to be a hit with kids young and old while they learn something new.
As well as Imagination Gaming, we’ll have games and activities to suit all your young hobbyist’s interests! RC car racing provided by the Bedfordshire Model Car Club. Model railway layouts from the KDMRS. Full open-play areas for boardgames, miniatures and card games. Painting intros and workshops throughout the weekend. The list goes on, plus a lot of our traders will have activities on hand for all ages. For the adults, there’s more of the same plus onsite catering and bar. Make it a full day out and create some memories!
