Our annual painting competitions are back for the Expo in 2025. Choose a category or two and get something finished up to enter.
Remember that it doesn’t need to be something that you’ve painted specifically for the competition. You could also just pick something epic from your collection.
Painting
Our painting competition categories are;
Single Miniature - Any miniature with a footprint of up to 60mm/2.5”
Squad or Warband - Up to ten miniatures with footprints up to 40mm/1.5” each
Monster or Vehicle - Any miniature with a footprint of 60mm/2.5” and larger
Statuette or Bust - Any suitably large scale bust or statuette style miniature
Yes this includes Imperial Titans.
Under 16s - Any entry painted by an under 16.
Under 16s are welcome to enter any other categories if they wish.
diorama
Our diorama competition has two categories;
Small Diorama
Any format with a footprint up to 12”/30cm square.
Large Diorama
Any format with a footprint larger than 12”/30cm square.
entry and winners
All painting entries must be in on Saturday 8th before 12pm
Winners will be announced on Saturday 8th at 4pm
Entries can be left on display in the venue until 4pm on Sunday 9th
